How score is calculated
Your score works like a test, judged against your own level (A1, A2, B1 or B2). 60 is the pass line; 75 is good and 90 excellent.
It combines four parts: Accuracy 40%, Task 25%, Interaction 20% and Range 15%.
Accuracy compares your mistakes with how much you said, and serious mistakes count more than small slips. The overall score can be at most 10 points above your Accuracy, so frequent mistakes always show in the result.
You need a few answers before a score is given. If the scenario task is not completed, the score is at most 55.
What Gets Scored
Task – Did you do what the scenario asked and keep the conversation meaningful?
Accuracy – Grammar and word forms, compared with how much you said.
Range – Variety of words and sentence types for your level.
Interaction – Answering the questions, giving full answers and staying in the target language.
