About the pilot
Blabalot is run by NOVALA STUDIOS AS and is currently offered as a pilot (beta) for a small group of invited testers. Features may be incomplete, and may change or be removed while we develop the service. There are no payments in the pilot. Our address is NOVALA STUDIOS AS, Oscars gate 54, 0258 Oslo, Norway.
By using Blabalot you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
These are draft terms for the pilot. They are not legal advice, they have not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the Norwegian text is AI-drafted and awaiting review by a native speaker.
Accounts and eligibility
- The pilot is intended for adult learners. Blabalot has no age check. If you believe an account belongs to a child, contact support and we will delete it.
- Give accurate information when you create your account.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Tell support as soon as you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings or through the data deletion page.
Fair use
By using Blabalot, you agree to use the service lawfully, provide accurate account information, and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- Do not automate or falsify scores, rewards, leaderboard activity, or account actions.
- Do not probe for vulnerabilities, bypass limits, disrupt the service, or access another person's account or data.
- Do not impersonate, harass, or misuse other learners or social features.
- Only submit text, audio, and other content that you have the right to use.
Learning service
Blabalot provides language-learning practice, AI-generated conversation and feedback, and translations. Automated pronunciation assessment exists but is not switched on in the pilot. These features are learning aids and may sometimes be incomplete or inaccurate; they are not professional, legal, medical, or immigration advice.
Voice features depend on your browser and microphone. Recognised text may contain mistakes, and your browser’s own terms apply to the speech recognition it provides.
Replies, corrections, translations and some learning content are created or drafted by AI and may contain mistakes, including in Norwegian. Some content is still waiting for review by a native speaker. Blabalot does not replace a teacher. Scores and levels are practice indicators, not an official assessment or certificate.
If a paid plan is offered, its price, billing cycle, included features, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. Payments are handled through the displayed payment provider.
You remain responsible for how you use generated content and for independently checking information used in important decisions.
No warranty
During the pilot Blabalot is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, or that content is accurate.
To the extent the law allows, NOVALA STUDIOS AS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the pilot, for example from relying on generated content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law, including consumer rights, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
Enforcement and changes
- We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in abuse, fraud, security threats, or serious violations of these terms.
- Features, providers, limits, and availability may change as the learning service develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
- Material updates to these terms will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
